Have you injured your lower back, sat down heavy or fallen on your coccyx. I would definitely have a word with your GP as they really are the only ones who will be able to tell you what the problem is. Good luck.
Hello spring Ross. The only thing I could think of was one I sat down on a really hard bench and git up feeling I had a sore bottom. That was when it all started??
I am waiting for a phone chat this morning with my gp. Hopefully we can get it sorted it quickly. Thankyou so much for replying. Have a really lovely day
Hi Red18, I would definitely see your GP, as you probably need to have an X-ray of your tail bone. I had osteopenia for many years and had a bone density scan in Feb which revealed that I now have osteoporosis, you need to have a scan about every three to four years.Hope you are soon better.
Thankyou ChristineK. I am seeing my GP tomorrow. I will mention definitely having an xray off my tailbone. I have a bone density scan booked on for January. Take care and thankyou for replying.
In 1977 I had a broken tail bone from giving birth. The only remedy was to sit on a “donut” pillow ( cushion made with a hole in the middle). Had several fractures till 2000 when diagnosed with Osteoporosis. Bones don’t heal appropriately but I am functional and manage pain daily. I’m grateful for what I can do.
