THE BONE CLINIC

Hello from Sydney, Australia

I recently found out about a new exercise programme called ONERO which is supposed to be very good for Osteoporosis sufferers. I have a T score of minus 3.8 in my spine and pretty bad in hips too. My Doctor wants me to go on HRT. I don't particularly want to so have enrolled in my first ONERO class and will give it a try. Contact the Bone Clinic via:

theboneclinic.com.au/

I will let you know how I go over the next year!

Good luck to all in improving your T scores

Thanks Jangil9, I have been observing Onero from the UK so will be interested to hear your experiences. Do any UK members know of any similar classes or even franchises in the UK? I am London based but interested to hear about any other UK location. Thanks all!

Hi Annelii

Someone said The Royal Osteoperosis society in UK and NOS have something similar.

Having read so many negative comments about the drugs available the exercise programme is what I will try first.

Good luck.

Good luck Janet. I am fortunate to live in Brisbane and attend the bone clinic classes. Been going 6 months so too early to tell yet but have high hopes.

That’s great Meganisi. So happy to hear you are attending the ONERO classes. Let me know if your bone density improves. And I will let you know too.

Thanks

Janet

Wow. Does that ever look great. How wonderful to have options like this, other than pharmaceuticals!

Absolutely - I am sure some people respond well to the Osteoperosis drugs yet as I have read lots of negative feedback I will do anything to avoid them.

Happy days to you.

In UK some of the support groups attached to The Royal Osteoporosis Society organise exercise classes. I have been to one started by the NOS in Hemel Hempstead for years and think it is a wonderful help. Hope your helps you!
