Result waiting list hull uk

Hi, I was diagnosed with osteoporosis aged 26 and had my 3rd two yearly scan last month. Usually I discuss the results immediately after my scan, however this time I was advised my results could take up to three weeks to be seen by the consultant. After waiting a month I’ve now been told there’s a 4 month wait on results and they refuse to send me a copy before the consultent has seen them.

Does anybody know why there’s such a backlog or know whether or not I’m entitled to see my test results before the consultent?

Hello Panvulcon, Sorry to hear that. Have you tried seeing your GP? Mine are kind and supportive even if concerned about me not taking meds. They might not be able to speed it up but might be able to offer an explanation and reassure you. Best of luck!

Sorry I should have added I don’t know the answer to your actual question about being able to see your results but your GP will.
