I have some answers........

Thank you to all of you who gave me some advice regarding my bone scan (or lack of).

I haven't been able to arrange a GP appt yet, but I will after the Bank Holiday, however, i emailed the NOS with my problem and the reply had come back that if i were to be on an aromatase inhibitor such as letrozole or anastrozole the guidelines say a scan every 2 yrs, however, I'm on Tamaxofen which, according to the NOS, can give some bone protection and small increases in bone density may occur, which is why I need to wait the full five years. I'm going to print off the reply and take it to GP in the next couple of weeks and see what they say.

Hope everyone has a lovely Bank Holiday weekend

Thank you for the update and the useful passing along of NOS' guidance on the matter.

Good luck for your chat with your GP.
