Jimmy and I had an awesome day. Can't give details until the project is completed but we were interviewed about our experience of living with liver cancer. A team flew in from all over the US (project head, photographers, make up artist, etc), a local AirBNB was used for the location and it was a day of photo sessions, talking about what we've experienced during this journey, things we wish we could change, hardships we've encountered regarding treatment, what we want others going through this to know, etc. Beautiful location and it was so fun being pampered and made up by a professional. Think we had three wardrobe changes during the photo shoot. Then we were interviewed with lights set up everywhere, two camera men, make up artist popping in to straighten our hair or power our nose. Felt like stars😎. The awesome thing is that they were all so patient and understanding when Jimmy needed a break and were so solicitous of how he was feeling. A few times I think there were tears in their eyes as we shared our story. The interview and photos will be part of a project on liver cancer that will hopefully help others dealing with this in the future. Plus we'll get access to these gorgeous photos. The photos will be something that I'll always cherish. I was so proud of Jimmy today. 💕💕💕

Please think about being an advocate to help others and work on bringing about changes in the way liver cancer is thought of, treated, etc. I was so Blessed to find this group and Andrea at the start of our journey. There's tons of caregivers and patients who have no one to help them. Every one of us can make a difference. ❤️❤️❤️
