Be grateful for any information about this drug- I have to start it if my BP doesn't settle down and listed side effects are a little off putting!!

It says Unlicensed use

Resistant hypertension (adjunct) unlicensed indication.

I'm not sure but I understand that to mean that it can be used for patients with uncontrolled Hypertension.

Been prescribed but have not started taking it yet . The side effects look horrendous . It looks like something made in Porton Down . Are you still taking this ? James

I found it’s the only med that doesn’t cause me problems. Just take when b p up- with Gp agreement

ok thanks . But i have stopped taking bp readings as i know they will be high . Had an operation recently and it was still 170/100

Is that while you are taking spironolactone? If so you may need something different. I found it works very well

no i have not taken any yet . i am on lorsartan and doxasoizin . i really do not like taking any pills !
