I upped the exercise - more cardio - running, swimming, cycling, tennis, and really cut down on salted foods. No more cured meats, cut back on the starchy carbs like bread and pasta, tried to go for a more Mediterranean diet, and cut out the beer. In 3 months it had made a huge difference. I was diagnosed with HBP last week, I’m 26, overweight and stressed due to family passing. I’m on a diet now and have recommitted to the gym as I’ve put on 2 stones and I’m 5’5.

I’m not on any meds, they’re going to monitor my BP and then go from there. I really don’t want to have to be put meds.
