Search queries bing bang!

Have you experienced our improved community search and site search?

You should give it a go! It has been an immensely helpful tool for others here at HealthUnlocked, so much so, that search queries have gone up +300% from November last year to January this year.

If you want to search for posts on your community (even the ones that are only available for community members), access the community search on the "Posts" page.

Plus, if you're wondering what other communities we have related to a particular term, you can use the "Communities" tab on our site search healthunlocked.com/search/c...

Hi Pepa I haven't tried it yet but I will. How are you. Everyone is doing a great job and I want to thank you all for making it easier to use. Your a bunch of hard workers and I appreciate that. I would suggest the numbers have risen because the way you've constructed it measures searches differently. It hasn't enhanced/eased things for me. It's probably one step slower.

I'm a bit puzzled by your reply, because before the recent implementation of searching from the Posts page, searches did not return results including locked posts. It was impossible to find content you knew was there among the locked posts. Sure it takes a bit longer to navigate to the Posts page, so you can search within locked posts, but this change means we can now locate content previously not searchable.

I'm not at all surprised to learn that the number of search queries has tripled, now that answers can be found in locked posts.

We do have different metrics for search, and when we decided to post we went only with search queries. Next time we will take the time to explain things better, promise

The number of search queries has risen 300% prior to the search optimisations plus search page views have increased 38%. This means members and visitors are viewing more search pages than before and, once on search, they are performing more searches.

The increase of search queries is due to a wide range of changes:

1. Technology

2. Better UX

3. Community search tab

4. Search input on Posts page

5. Ability to search for more communities

6. Ability to search for private posts on the communities you follow
