Today we have launched our HealthUnlocked Member and Admin Awards 2018.

The awards recognise the impact other members and admins have on HealthUnlocked.

There are three awards up for grabs:

Positive impact member: The user whose positivity helps make your life better

Admin of the year: The admin who makes the biggest difference to your community

Member of the year: The user who posts, blogs and shares information that helps you manage your health condition better or improve your health

You can see more information and vote here: research.net/r/8PS9TXJ

That is really tall order. Everyone I have come into contact on HealthUnlocked CLL has been more than helpful and supportive. As noted on CLL patient who uses travel to deal with CLL, this website does me more good than any travel and I really enjoy travel.

AlexaHU, I agree with Big_Dee, this is tall order. We have just started with our Start Moving Start Living HU community but I will do my best to vote!

Gosh! That's a really hard thing to do! I can name a few who have personally helped and had a positive impact - Mace, Lynnbibb, Gutlesswonder to name just a few. Not forgetting Haward and Alan too who have given me lots of pointers!

All in all, this is a great forum for debate and exchange of experiences- not to mention boosting my morale when I've been at a particularly low ebb.

Sincere thanks to all who have taken the time and trouble to respond to my posts. I hope to be able to be as supportive to others once my husband has completed his treatment.

Best wishes to all, Kate

A house divided shall surely fall.....words of Lincoln ring that i cannot make a choice in thousands of great souls that give of their time and talents to help me thru tough times....

Red85, CDaisydoo and Emmyloop are my faves but Red is the absolute best, Red85 I believe, could be wrong about the number, I call her Red. The admin in premenstral madness. She is so authentic and insightful and calm and real and giving!!

Thank you to everyone for their amazing feedback on this. We know it is very tough and these awards will only recognise such a small amount of people who make a difference to you.

I think giving awards is a really bad idea. We are all here to help each other, not to compete for an award. I'm sure those who are the most helpful feel better about the help they provide than they would feel about a trophy on the mantle for doing so. Maybe others will express their agreement or disagreement with me?

Thanks everyone - it's great to have so much appreciation for other users and admins. It certainly is hard to just pick one User and Admin. You'll see that we've done this as a nomination process, to ensure it is done as a recognition award rather than a competition you can win. Taking part is completely up to you and there is no obligation to nominate anyone. The response we have had so far shows just how many users and admins make a difference to other people, which is wonderful.
