I woke up feelin good today (not a usual feelin) have already done some washing and put the sweeper round (not like yesterday in my pj's all day).

I am also going to PR later, well it not really PR its the maintenance class that follows PR, but love going to meet up with friends, have been going to same one for about 6 years now. Sometimes a lot of the excercise is facial ie: talking, we do get told off, but we don't mind.

After that I will be fired up and ready to go to the supermarket, don't do loads of shopping, have most delivered but like to have a look to see whats going.

Will probably buy something nice, a treat maybe.

By that time I will be well and truly shattered so hopefully hubby will cook tea and then back in my pj's will probably be in bed by 8.30, then hope for another good day tomorrow.

My motto, do it when you can and when you can't, don't, it can wait till tomorrow.

I have had a really good week. I have bought 54 ladybird books (its a terrible failing I have) and have been swimming twice, once on Monday and again last night. I am going tonight so have had to buy a second costume to wear! I feel like its doing me good and making me feel better - although they do say it makes you feel like that.

I had hoped to go and see a friend in Derbyshire at the weekend but I have a wedding at the end of the month in Ludlow, its my birthday in September too and a holiday in October to Inverness to look forward to so I said I would see my friend before C******** (sorry for mention of this word!) instead. I also have thaose annoying consultants appointments to squeeze in too.

I have spotted a sculpture gardenI woudl like to visit near Edinburgh, but its 700m walk up to the entrance. I think I might put that on hold until spring though! I love making plans to go places and see friends etc - I think we all need something to look forward to. I know its what keeps me going.

I hope you all have as lovely a day as possible.

Marie

Loved the Paralympics opening it reminds me that being positive and determined can still have amazing results for those that have a dream, can it fail to lift you up ?

Enough doom and gloom in the world keep looking for the silver lining there is always one to be found when you look for it. Even a bad breathing day is a sign you are still breathing and still on the journey through life.

As they say for the paralympics, 'It's about what you can do, not what you can't do'

I just come on here and checked and there doesn't seem to be any or many depressing blogs. My blog last week was quite depressing and down as my dad got rushed to hospital and as I have made some good friends on here who are always caring and empathetic and show an interest I wanted to let you know and share. And it helps tremendously having support and people show their care and from my experience it can really pick you up when your feeling quite sad as I was.

Maybe those who did post a 'depressing' blog needed support and just someone to talk too in a way and I think we should all be here for anyone who needs it be it positive or negative.
