Well this has to be the best laugh i have had in ages ..... A friend of mine went into a shop the other day and noticed that the shop keeper had put a marker made of tape in front of the counter and he then informed people waiting to be served that they were not allowed past the line. It came to my mates turn and he accidently tore the tape and it stuck to his shoe ! The shopkeeper got all agitated and started saying what a waste of time that was and how he was trying to keep people at a decent space away from him and he proceeded to rip the tape off the floor while getting more and more narky. So my mate replied "well mate what did you expect ! The marker was so far away that i could`nt reach the counter to be served !!! Who do you think i am ? Mr Tickle ? "
Does anyone else have any funny stories to tell during these times we are having ?

I’ve been to a Supermarket today with our daughter and witnessed a man use one of the lifts all to himself. He dashed over, got in and closed the doors. I think he wanted to be alone. Xxx. 💝
I wish I'd have been there. Perfect answer though. There may well be many more funny stories in the forthcoming weeks.
I was asked to leave the chemist yesterday and wait outside for my prescription.
A row of chairs were set up in front of the chemist window outside and it started to rain. The people who were asked to leave the chemist premises were all sitting there in a row fuming. I left them to it glad i had managed to get my medication. What is going to happen next I wonder. Worrying times indeed.
I would have been in pieces at that , so funny . We have to laugh dont we But yes, very worrying but something we have to try and deal with in the best way we can i suppose .
Not specific to this particular post p which sounds as if the shopkeeper was a bit fraught and trying to establish the suggested distance of a metre apart but remember in this others are protecting you . Follow the advice and protect others . It is not easy to maintain a distance like that as we are sociable beings.
My husband came in from the pub today, where he tolerates his friends going on and on about football. Someone said,that he was now having to talk to his wife. Then he said, "I didn't know she wasn't working at Woolworths any more".
