How do you break a ct scanner?! 🤨 It wasn’t me!

Seriously, how frustrating. Hopefully your appointment will be rescheduled very soon.

Unfortunately Ct scanners do break down occasionally,Cecilia worked in Radiology and it happens sometimes.normally fixed within a few days and hopefully your hospital has more than one scanner so the delay may be minimal with a bit of luck :) x

I hope so, got all excited earlier thinking sooner the tests, sooner the treatment, back to square one!! Whine over.....now on this 🍷 ~xx

The treatment will no doubt involve various combinations of bronchodilators with or without steroids with regard to your diagnosed condition so don't expect anything too dramatic,in fact compared to skating it will be rather boring. :) x

In the unfortunate event that it is deemed necessary to go down that route there are many members including myself who have the knowledge and experience of all the procedures to guide and support you on that journey. :) xx

Just when your doc has got things forging ahead, the spanner in the works, broken hospital equipment, comes along. Hopefully it won't be long to be sorted.

How disappointing, I expect you were all psyched up and ready! Hope it’s back up and running very soon for you. That’s the trouble with machines, I suppose. I’m sure you’ll be a priority case once it’s geared up again. Good luck 💕🌸💕

Thats it count to ten and stay calm, thats what happened at our hospital think its still out of action. We have been going to another hospital to have mini scans. Cost of replacing scans is horrendous when you think the NHS is refusing treatment due to lack of funds. Before long it will be an emergency only service unless you can pay or have medical insurance.

Like you said Skatergirl1 ,breathe nice and slow and chill. It's all beyond your control, annoying as it obviously is,the only answer is to wait for a new date etc. I do feel for you though.😵

Sorry to hear the machine broke down it’s understandable you’re feeling frustrated with it especially when your worried. Away back in 2016 I was sent to a private hospital for CT scan as the waiting list was long for the Nhs one and the consultant said to me he thought I had lung cancer so I got the scan done a couple of days later, the consultant took 6 months on holiday .his secretary told me she left him my results that was to contact me anyway I asked her to give me them over phone she wasn’t allowed lovely lady did tell me I didn’t have cancer but it was serious. My Gp got an e mail saying I had IPF , when he got back he sent me for another CT scan twice in two different Nhs hospitals near me I couldn’t believe what was said to me 1st one guy doing the CT it explained everything they were going to do then said here’s hoping it picks up everything as this machine has been playing up all day?? I said how you going to know if it’s worked right or not his reply fingers crossed 🙄 then I was sent for a ctpa scan and the lady doing it said I can see something but not sure what then said I’m sorry your going to have to come back it’s this machine it’s always breaking down and we don’t have another. So you’r not alone it seems to happen to a lot !! And just my opinion as long as youv got a working machine you also need to have the people who read the results of any type of tests need to be up for it And concentrating on the persons body parts being invested !! understand your frustration so much because I was told the people who looked at results missed that I’d had blood clots back in 2016 . In both ct scans. So I wish you the very best of luck and things aren’t as serious as you think they’re going to be and I do hope youv got some on you can take with you , take good care and , keep us updated on how your doing. I’ll be thinking you as I’m sure many others will be to .🌹🌹

Oh my goodness, poor you!! That must have caused you so much stress...I hope you have got things sorted now and are being taken care of by your consultant. I have learnt to take medical things in my stride, but more frustrated at app being changed because I am self employed and changed all my clients around yesterday last minute and lost work!! But will be glad to get all the tests done and results. Thank you for your kind d words and I wish you well also xx

Dont you just hate it when that happens. I felt just the same when all gowned up ready to have my op, then they told me bp was too high so cancelled. You just deflate, but hang on in there, it wont be long before its up and running or you get referred to another hospital. Count to ten x
