Can anybody help me i just received a private message from a lady called “ suesanders66 “ . I tried to find her but i am not good at this technology lark. How can i find this lady please when that is all the info i have. I am not even sure that she is on this site. It is possibly another healthunlocked site as i am a member of a few others.

To locate you will have to go to each site you are following and click about, the all community members, enter the username in search box.

Yes stone is completely right. When you have a new pm it should show in the chat box at the top. Just go into that and the message will come up. Why not ask this person what site they are on as it's much easier than going into each one. I have done this before when getting a pm. Normally you should recognise the name though and I am wondering why someone you don't know would send you a pm. x

It was a scammer sillywitch got the same message. I don’t understand how someone can access our site and send PM’s to members. Karen looked and she is not listed on our site. The same person has been active on othersites.

It’s so easy to join HU, there on in you only have follow any community to access post, profiles, PMs.
You don’t even have to follow a community to send PMs, as long as you see a username , just click on, then you can access their profile then send a message.
Oh that is how it is done. At least they stopped her very quickly. That is why i could only see the first couple of lines. Now i understand .

You just seem to be so smart with computers and information. You get your point across ln very few words. I am sure you have loads of experience in these arenas. I , on the other hand , take an hour to say something that you could say in a couple of words. A great skill to have Stone.
I've just recieved a message off the same person, S/he says "my dear friend I'm very sorry for using this media to contact you, ....just last week the Dr told me I have less than a week to live because of my long cancer sickness, Please understand, when I clicked the see message link it opened onto this site, however, it would not load the message, so I went into my message box & there is no message at all from this person. I believe it is a scam of some sort. Please be careful in trying to open messages like this.

Just had a quick look at other sites here, on the Fibro site there is a recent post about this person & the admin there says it looks like a scam & to report it, so this is just a heads up to the Admin here

Thank you Karen, it was a smart scam though. The name actually sounded familiar, i said to my daughter in law “is there an actress of this name?” Her response was similar to yours, to be careful. I had to try though and did not want to call it as a scam just in case it was genuine because sadly i do know a couple of people who could easily be in that position.

Glad to help. These scammers play on peoples emotions, it appears this one was asking for financial help, & tbh to do that to people they know are already sick themselves is bloody sickening.
Hello Sheila, I'm sorry to hear you've had this scam message. This person has apparently approached several people in different communities, although she is not a member of our forum. However, I understand that Health Unlocked have already removed her from the whole platform, so I hope no-one else will be bothered by her.
For future reference - any dubious messages can be reported to HU by clicking on the three dots at the bottom right of the message to report it. This report goes straight to HU to be dealt with. BLF Admins will not see it, so if you want to tell us about it too, please send us a separate message with details.

Hi madame, i hope you are well. It was basically a begging letter. I know because someone got to see a full one. This scumbag pretends that she has cancer and has been given two weeks to live etc etc . What is sad is that i know people this has happened to, therefore i may have fallen for it. When i tried to trace back to her profile i could not find her, or any previous messages. Admin were already onto her, that is why i only saw the first few lines.
Anyway apart from that, are you keeping ok?
There is enough going on in this world without these awful people trying to take advantage of others, people who are sick as well, how disgusting . ❤️
Hi Sheila--that is awful--Yes so ,so much going on--one can hardly keep up with it--I wonder everyday where we are headed but I know in my heart there is some kind of plan..so i hang on and try to keep the faith-so to speak ..Im ok--suffering with this god awful humidity and what I think are medication issues--which is costing me financially and emotionally but hoping for a good outcome. I am so lookin forward to winter as summer just kills me here-I better *duck* as many will throw things at me for that remark eh?-How are you?? Hi madame, yes you are right , the lunatics run this planet without a doubt. I watched some news footage on the hurricane heading towards America, some people just will not evacuate. Someone posted on here saying some are having pool parties in anticipation. CRAZY PEOPLE. They should head for the hills. A house and random things are of no use to you if you are dead, if they get damaged then insurance will compensate them, if not then the government will. No they want to watch the hurricane ?????? Lunatics all of them.

Insurance will help very few of them--we have seen that here again and again--There is little insurance that will cover a flood plain which is ridiculous--we are in a serious mess in this country...and forget the government--puerto rico is destroyed--our present government is a travesty---I could say more but best not...
