Pretty bad but the last couple of days it's been a bit cooler so breathing was better .Got a date for my op , I go in 9th September and have my op 10 th september.im pretty scared but also excited .xxx

well I think it's lung reduction at mo I've got a lot of nodules on lungs too so guess they might take them out ?? could be wrong on the reduction and they might just do the valves awaiting to see the consultant at my hostpital for update as we speak x

No darling I'm having lung volume reduction .When I went in to the Brompton inFeb for two days this was to see if my lungs were suitable for LVRS ,they told me the valves weren't an option for me so I'm having the bigger op .XXXlove and hugs ❤️

Thanks darling when the sun shines I'm in it .At least when I have my op I will be nice and brown it always makes me feel better having a tan . Only thing is the heatwave makes it even harder to breathe and every thing takes so long .....even walking .Hope the weather holds as I hate the cold .Take care my friend .😊♥️♥️♥️♥️

Great pic and wow you look in amazing health. Beaut tan and blond hair. More like a California gal. I am interested in this lung reduction you are referring to. Do they cut out the bad bits? Is it because the lungs get onflated and uncomfortable. I am moderate COPD ( Emphysema) and in Western Australia. My Specialists hasn’t mentioned this. I get a lot of pain in my back ribs and sternum area.

Hi thanks for the compliments. I'm very flattered .

The lung reduction op I'm having is they cut off the bad part and staple your lung back together .it's a big op but a very good success rate .Apparently why we get breathless is when we breathe in the air gets trapped in the emphysema and can't get back out so hence the breathlessness .I'm scared about having the op but also very excited because although I'm approaching 71 years old I want my life back .

Hi no I don't mind you asking .I had LVRS on the 8 th Oct 2018 with great success. It's a big op but nothing to fear .My recovery was very quick as im a fighter . You have to meet certain criteria to have this op . Mentally and physically . You also have to have a bronchoscopy to determine if your lungs are suitable for any of the options offered ,coils ,valves LVRS . I hope this helps .
