Update to partner having x Ray showing shadow on lung.

Just to update everyone who was kind enough to comment on my original post. My partner had his ct scan 9 days ago at 8am. He was told it would be between 7 and 10 days before the results were ready. He called his gp surgery yesterday and they said there were no results in yet and he should call back next Friday. I feel a bit more positive now as I would think k if there was anything sinister they would have been in touch by now. Also his cough has almost cleared up and he is feeling well. Just thought I would post an update.

Hello Claire, sorry to hear your partners not been very well. However, it sounds promising he's on the mend 🤞when you say he has to wait to see doctor, in my opinion if it was anything serious the doctor would have been Intouch to see him urgently. I wish him a speedy recovery. Can you let us know how he gets on please? ✋️🙂

Well it sounds good to me, make sure you speak to GP though and find out exactly what was on the X-ray and what CT scan shows. Sometimes doctors can be quite blasé about it, even if it's nothing serious you want to know what was originally seen. Probably just infection but need to check, and your partner should still take it easy and rest as sounds like it was quite an infection. Wish you both well

Thank you, yes he has been resting a bit more I'm hoping that's the worst of it over with.
