hi everyone forgive me ,in me putting my feeble worry on here to ,but I know your very helpful & kind ,apart from my copd , I like so many other people suffer with high blood pressure , today I have been given a fourth pill called Perindopril , can anyone tell me if they take them , as I foolishly read side affects , now I have really frightened my self , just like to know if someone using it , thank you x

Hello cazbay. I don't know anything about blood pressure or its medications but I just wanted to reassure you that there are no feeble worries. If anything worries you bring it to the forum. Members will answer if they can and share their experiences.

Not feeble at all. Ask away. I'm sorry I don't take any meds for high blood, but I understand the worry when you find out all the side effects. I remember when I started taking steroids, I was a wreck but got used to them. If you do take them , take the first dose in the day time, so you can call your clinic if you feel "funny". I hope things work out for you.

It is from a group of drugs called ACE inhibitors and is regarded as very safe. Unfortunately most high bp drugs have some side effects. With yours low blood pressure is fairly common which can make you a bit dizzy, but the dose can be adjusted. My experience of taking bp medicine for many years is that they work well but can make you a bit down sometimes. The most important thing is avoiding a stroke. Currently my bp is the lowest it has ever been but it has taken a long time to get here. There are so many excellent drugs these days that they can usually find a combination that works! Good luck

hello cazbay, I do take bp pills and I also take it early in the day (I take many pills for different things!) every time I get a new one so I can ring someone , doctor hospital anyone! I also let my daughter know. I have never had to do any of those things but it calms me a lot knowing I can, I am such a woos at taking new stuff, but it helps me so try not to worry, oh and I also come here to ask and I try not to read side effects even though some say you should and the doctor always says don't bother! I have been known to ring pharmacist too to ask if its ok. good luck, I bet you will be fine xx

hi, I was on blood pressure tables ,I have tried many brands to no avail

Now I take black seed capsuls and my pressure is down 137/63
