Hi I was wondering if anyone could suggest what kind of things I could use instead of the normal cleaning sprays in the kitchen and polish in the rest of my home, plus things to replace hairspray and perfumes, plus what kind of vitamins I should take,

Hope you are all OK out there keep warm and safe x

My wife swapped to vinegar ... nearly killed me! I prefer anything (or nothing to vinegar) ... guess each of us is different.

Lemon juice, little white vinegar and bicarbonate of soda works a treat on kitchen and bathrooms and floors. You can buy them in bulk online if you do a search, the lemon juice is known as citric acid. It is mixed with hot water. Rather than polish I use a slightly damp cloth anyway for cleaning bedrooms and loung etc. If you'd rather use a polish I believe you can buy natural non scented oil ones.

Perfume you could try a roll on one, they are in M&S and Next I think but again search on line

I would second Bicarbonate of Soda, it works in so many ways. From bathroom cleaning, ovens, worktops, even hair washing. I bought one of those books called something like 1000 uses for Bicarbonate of Soda.

I also buy it at a Chinese supermarket in bulk which works out way much cheaper than the little tubs in shops. Also buy bulk vinegar there as well, using it for cleaning, weed killer etc.

Weed killing - that's why vinegar has such a negative effect on me!

For cleaning I use 3/4 water and 1/4 vinegar with about two drops of dish soap in a spray bottle. It cleans everything! For glass Again, I use 50/50 vinegar and water. I would use a little dab of essential oil in place of perfume. As for Hairspray no idea maybe somebody else has a good idea about Hairspray. I just use gel and then I blow dry my hair but it's fairly short so it doesn't fly around much. Lol

Hello Ladydevon. I use Beewax polish not spray. Also soda bicarb. Salt on the greasy parts and have even tried White vinegar for the bathroom and even "coca cola". the later works on the toilet. Found the light hair spray from Sainsbury's works for me. have no problems with parfume. Hope you find somethings which will be just right for you. Cheers.

Hi.......small amount of washing powder on a damp sponge works wonders in the kitchen sink, and with bicarbonate of soda sprinkled in / around the loo's

White vinegar to keep he drain pipes fresh. Eco cloths to clean Windows they only need plain water......one wet & one dry.....washing up liquid for all kitchen surfaces.

Can't give up the hair spray or perfume so use a very thick towel across my face ,eyes only left uncovered. Best of luck 😊

Jo.
