Pneumonia Recovery

Hi,

I've had pneumonia for 4-5 weeks and am now just finishing antibiotics. I received antibiotics during the fourth week. The first 5-6 days showed a very steady improving. But now I am starting to feel worse again with extreme fatigue and slight lung pain again. Is it normal to have good and bad periods in three recovery phase?

Hi if I were you I would contact your GP tomorrow and explain how you feel

I had double pneumonia in the past and tried to battle on.....it wasn't a good idea.

You maybe need another course of antibiotics ....take care.

Hello. I definitely second Knitter's advice. I remember ignoring a cough once and it cost me my holiday to my mum's and I was miserable for weeks. Call your doctor. I think that's the best course of action.

Take good care and wishing you a speedy recovery.
