So sorry for your loss. But please don't feel guilty for being alive, I'm sure he wouldn't want that. Remember him for him forget the illness.

Dear kapre, what sad news for you to hear. I'm sure your nephew would not want you to think like that.

Just remember all the good times in Peter's life that you've shared & send him a huge smile.

He's not suffering anymore.

Take care of yourself & remember we're all here for you 💐

COPD can be unpredictable. I am very sorry to hear about the sad loss of your nephew. The shock must have hit you like a truck. Please do not feel bad because you are still here. Your nephew may well have had a different type of COPD or an underlying complication that hadn't been diagnosed.

Respect. All the problems you are coping with Azure and you still find the time to help others. I take my cap off to you.

Dear Kapre, I am sorry that the death of your Nephew has hit you so hard. The NHS may have stuck the same badge on his file as on yours but we all have different bodies and a different ability to deal with these ailments.

We can only play the cards that we are dealt. As you are painfully aware there is no guarantee on years, it is down to the luck of the draw. All that we can do is to play the cards that life deals us. Do not question the reason why the cards are dealt in such an order. Just play them the best you can.

It may be you are still here to guide that large family of your many grand-children.

Kindest wishes, Rib

Hello Kapre. I'm sorry for your loss. Please don't feel bad that you are here instead of him. I'm sure that would be the last thing he'd want.

Many hugs.

Cas xx

Dear kapre,

Of course you feel this way, because you loved him, and it was not to be that he lived his life to the full extent. Although he is not with his family in form - you shared a blood line and it still runs through your veins, and always will. The feeling of guilt is perfectly natural. Be happy that you shared his life.

Always remember the good times - Pete would not want you to feel guilty, but it is a perfectly natural feeling.

COPD doesn't work on age etc., it is a very cruel disease and we all have days when we think @why me@ and you are having a 'why Pete' day.

Cherish the good times you all had.

xx Jean

I'm really sorry to hear of your loss but please don't feel guilty. Peter's untimely death is in no way your fault. Some of us have a short span here and some a long one. There is no rhyme or reason to this. It's just that Peter's time had come and yours has not yet.

God bless.

So sad for you kapre and for your family. Illness does not care how old a person is or how long they have been ill so try and live your life to the full and think of your nephew, it is what he would want for you I am sure.

Take care xxxxx

Sorry for your loss. But I'm sure your nephew wud not want you feeling guilty about living. I'm widowed 13 yrs now and glad I have had these years even alone.

Hope your illness is under control. Live to the full, even with lung disease, it's difficult, but not as bad as some!!! God Bless!! 😊
