My latest arrangement

I have put a photograph of my latest attempt at flower arranging ,

We hold a flower club once a month at our church hall ,

Pretty in pink ! It's gorgeous Nan and you've made some really good choices on the spacing and arrangement of the flowers.

Thankyou ,have to leave room for the butterflies ,,that was what I was told years ago ,,,,,seems my arranging is better than my photography,,,as I've missed out the rose at the top of photo haha,

Haha ,,,I'm not that good but Thankyou ,by the time I've done the church flowers and one for my daughter and for myself ,,,, I've had enough ,,,I have made arrangements for friends who are attending a funeral ,,,,,or a bouquet for a birthday etc ,,,,,,it's very relaxing ,,,,

It is not only a wonderful filler, it enhances the beautiful roses.  It's a lovely time of the year for white heather.  I have white in my garden too.  I only wish I could grow the wild for the memories.

I am positively jealous, I spend hours arranging and they just look as if I have wrapped both hands round stalks and rammed in vase. My mum used to do just that, couple of minor tweaks and they looked amazing! Obviously have no talent.

When I first started I bought a book from the charity shop ,the beauty is ,,,using oasis you can place the flowers and if they don't look right start again ,our group teacher has been with us for over 20 years ,,,,I don't know how she keeps coming up with new ideas ,,,,she does the arrangement,,,,and the next group meaning we have to do what she did,,etc etc,

Would probably end up like the exercise class I went to in the dim and distant past, I kept going right when I should have been going left, brought whole class to a standstill and hysterics, after 2 sessions my sister refused to take me any more as she found it too humiliating. I expect I'd be just as bad with flower arranging, particularly as when things start to go wrong I get the giggles! Even manage to wreck warm up sessions at rehab and physio ends up in gales of laughter. I am good at some things, just not the more normal ones!

Very tasteful.  Aren't you clever?  One of my cousins used to work in a flower shop when she was young.   It's nowhere as easy as it looks is it?  x

What a beautiful display! The colour of the roses is gorgeous & matches the Heather perfectly. I love flowers & have them in the house all the time. I always think they brighten up a room & the added bonus of the perfume is lovely. Look forward to seeing more of your creations 😀🌺

hi, morning, like it, I LOVE IT!!!  its really beautiful, its  so hard to get those flowers to go and stay where you want them, I find!!  you should be well chuffed with your self, I think they look stunning, i'm not a "pink" kind of girl, ha ha, but they look gorgeous the whole arrangement!!!

What a wonderful arrangement, I love the wood at the bottom, you must be very pleased with it. Super height and such a subtle pink. Do the roses smell?

I used to belong to a flower club way back,such a nice crowd, and for me arranging flowers is very therapeutic .

Hi ,Thankyou,sadly no smell fto. The roses ,the wood is something I found when I used to take my Grandaughter walks ( she's 13 now so not so many walks with nanny ) haha ,,,,but she sometimes finds things and face times me with ,,,,us this any good to you nanny ,,,,haha ,,,,,it is very relaxing and a nice get to get her with friends ,

That is beautiful something I would love to do but I have no flair for arranging flowers even when I take mom flowers it looks like I have just pulled up outside the crematorium and thrown the flowers over the wall

Haha oh no ,,,,give it another try ,do the greenery first then you only need a few flowers ,,,,,,either way ,,, in a display or a vase of flowers mums appreciate the kind thought ,sadly I have to take flowers to the grave for my mum ,,,,,but I know she loves them ,
