There are 2 new Breathe Easy groups in Newcastle who'd love to welcome you and are looking for new members and volunteers!

Breathe Easy Newcastle East meet on the 1st Monday of each month, 1.30-3.30pm at Benfield Park Medical Centre, Benfield Road, Walkergate NE6 4QD. Nina, BLF Respiratory Specialist Nurse from the CHEST Team, will be talking about how you can manage your lung condition and what to do if you have a flare up at the meeting on Monday 7 March.

Breathe Easy Newcastle West meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, 1.00-3.00pm at Denton Burn Community Association, Slatyford Lane, Denton Burn NE5 2UQ - next meeting is on 15 March.

Sorry but I have to moan now. Why are these sort of events always during the day? Working full time, I was lucky that my employer was really good when attending the PR course which was two afternoons a week for 6 or 8 weeks (can't remember which).

Admittedly, I'm 150 miles from this one but is sometimes feels like everything is against us working.
