I've never used them but heard they're good.

Groupon or wowcher sometimes do cheap deals for salt caves. Hope this helps. X

I use a hypertonic saline nebuliser once a day, I wonder if the salt caves have same effect? Lots of people sitting about coughing their lungs up, think I'd rather the home option but I'm open to be educated as to what the caves can actually do. 😄

Hi I have lung cancer and severe COPD I did look into going to sake caves as we have one fairly locally. When I went on website to book it did state not suitable for patients with lung disease. If I have time later I will find it and copy it over. Shame as I tried be in a hotel last year and whether it was in my mind I felt it helped me ie I wasn't coughing as much.

Just read the small print before you book or ask a respiratory nurse. X

I have moderate emphysema, and have used the salt cave quite a bit, especially in winter. When it's cold and damp

You need to blitz it a bit,I buy 30 sessions and then use it to go 3 times a week for around a month,I can then normally feel a difference,so I leave the other sessions until I need them again.

Please make sure that salt does make matters worse as it does with me. I recently had two tests over 5 weeks with saline solution for a nebuliser and surprised the nurses that it actually reduced my lung capacity my 25%. So check it out please. I have mild emphysema and severe COPD

Great, thanks again for all your replies. Was wondering, my dad uses the saline solution and its not really doing that much now, how would a salt cave be more beneficial, isn't it kinda the same thing?

I had 10 sessions last year I thought it sort of helped but an expensive way for the results. If I lived nearer to the place I would possibly give it another try
