Does anyone know what has happened to everyones's picture (icon) or whatever they are called.?

Since last night there has been no pictures of anybody or anything on the website? Is it just my computer or does everyone have this? Where our pictures normally are, there are just white boxes with an x in the top left corner and user name is running down the right hand side from top to bottom. I bet as soon as I post this it will come ok again! Thanks for any answers. hugs xx

Morning Suzy, Pleased that you can see me!! ha ha. I still can't see anyone's picture. Nothing at all. At least I know its not my computer but maybe some glitch on the website. I am glad you have nice weather, because its horrible here at the moment. Misty, grey, wet but the sea is like a pond. Not a breath of wind. Have a lovely weekend. hugs xx

Thanks Puff. When I pressed the x in your box your activity etc came up ok. Its just the pictures seem to have gone a.w.o.l.!!!

Same here but I tried to change my picture and it was upside down so I gave up and now have a black space (which is how I feel a lot of the time lol!)

Hi qbjb, Sorry to state the obvious, but the pictures are back but you have just got a back square. It is however, a very nice black square.!

Hu qbjb, I have decided to leave well alone, as I would probably make things worse.! I'm sure they will be trying to sort the problem out. I am going out into the pouring rain for a while now so hope problem is fixed by the time I get back. hugs xx

I got something similar earlier huggs, the BLF logo had mysteriously disappeared. It's back now.

Yes I do love animals and nature huggs. We have a cheeky fox who sits on our lawn sometimes. I keep trying to take a photo not managed it yet but I will. xx

I think they had a glitch as the daily email had no pictures and it would not right click to download. They probably did a bit of data cleaning and it was offline all seem back to normal now. Shame HU do not let peeps know if they are doing these things and make us think it is our fault!

BTW your picture on the Left is usually known as an Avatar.

Thanks Offcut, I'm just relieved it wasn't my computer, and I agree it would be good if they let us know what is happening. However, the site itself was working ok, so that's the main thing. Thanks for letting me know about my avatar lol ha ha. I bet you couldn't tell I haven't had a computer for long! Take care hugs xx

I had some terrible time with trying to answer messages from you all. I eventually wrote to Admin. They gave me a link for me to change my password! I did - well I put my old "difficult" password back. It did the trick. Try this!

Hi Mick, The only things I had trouble with were the avators (Offcut told me the proper name for the pictures.) They came back last night some time or maybe late afternoon, but apart from that the site was working perfectly well for me. Sorry it affected you in a different way and you were unable to use the site. Maybe they were overhauling it or giving it an MOT, or whatever they do to websites! Are you OK? Take care. hugs xx
