I ran the Bath Half Marathon yesterday 14 months after a heat attack and cardiac arrest . I thought that my running days were over but because the great support that’s out then I’m here to share this with everyone.

Fantastic Calne66 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 really shows what “we” hearties can achieve. I had nstemi and quadruple bypass July 2023 and my daughter eventually got me back into Parkrun 5ks by February 2025. Didn’t I’d be completing any running either ( dis London & NY marathons 2000& 2001🤦🏼🤣)… had a new hip October 2024 and just finished couch to 5k with Beginner to runners B2R via an invite from my GP surgery. Your achievement is an and should be a huge inspiration to us all. Keep on moving 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇

Fantastic, looking good. It takes a while but I'm finally back on the Parkrun trail , shaving off the seconds? I know, it's a run not a race 😉! Not sure about a half marathon though! Different league- well done.
