Earache

Hi, I was diagnosed with AFib a couple of years ago and take Edoxaban daily with Bisoprolol when I experience AFib, I always get severe earache prior to getting it, does anyone else experience this? Many thanks, Louise

Hi Lou, I took am on Edoxaban and Bisopropol and I am experiencing pain in my right ear, it's quite uncomfortable when it comes, sharp pain lasts a few minutes then goes. No idea if it's the medication. But annoying. I am having trouble with the Bisopropol and am going to speak to my doctor this week about coming off it. If possible. Good luck Cate

Bisoprolol can indeed have the side effect unfortunately of ear congestion and ear ache. I had to stop if for this reason. Whenever I retry it (as on cardiologist's acceptance I use it as needed only - 'pill in your pocket' they call it, when I have a bad bout of AF), I get ear pain and congestion the next day, yet again. Causes me insomnia too 😳
