My sister has been on it for a couple of months as she had to lose weight for an operation. Fantastic results and pretty much no side effects, been a game changer for her

My wife has just had her 3rd injection, unfortunately we have to pay for it, apparently she ticks all the boxes but because her weight is the same as 12 months ago she's not entitled to it. It started working straight away eats half as much, not that she was a big eater anyway, I eat much more and I can't get to 11st!!. The only thing she has found is she feels the cold a bit more and was constipated for a few days. She's lost 7lbs in 3 weeks, her target is 3st. I wish you the best of luck with your weight loss and for the future

Yes, I've been on it for probably just over a year now and it's been brilliant. I've lost around 15kg in that time and haven't had any side effects, apart from... Lack of appetite! My diabetes has improved massively since being out on it. All the best!

I'm one month in so very early days. Taking it along with Inclisiran to help get my cholesterol as low as possible. Injections not nearly as bad as I thought they would be. Some nausea and constipation but nothing problematic. Quite remarkable the way it reduces interest in food, it's like a 'food holiday'! I'm focusing on a few key things to make it as effective as possible.

1. Prioritising eating protein regularly - to keep muscle mass.

2. Doing resistance exercise 3 x week to maximise fat loss versus muscle loss (people who have injections without exercising can lose muscle).

3. Keep fibre intake up to avoid constipation - I take Psyllium Husk Fibre Tablets which seems to help.

Please bear in mind I'm not an expert and this is just what I do, but the injections are definitely helping me lose weight without all the dieting drama. I don't want to live in a world without toast! 😆 Hope this helps and fingers crossed you get back on the transplant list asap.
