Had a heart problem 3 years ago. Paramedics thought I had a leaking valve and I was taken to A&E. After discharge the GP arranged an Echogram, however the surgery di not tell me the result and I was a little upset. Finally managed to obtain a copy which I sent to a private cardiologist . He gave me the results and then an appointment.

Short result I had a Stent put in about 2 years ago and was told I had Aortic stenosis. Then had a TAVI valve inserted 1 Year ago followed 2 month by a dual chamber pacemaker. Lots of pills but feeling good, walk as much as I can but do not like hills particularly

Am 87 next birthday in 6 weeks or so.

Hi John I had the same issue trying to get my Echocardiogram results from my GP surgery. I had to argue with the receptionist just to be able to speak to the doctor to get my results. I also have a leaky valve.
