Hello All
Would like to ask if there is 1-2 things that you felt are important to continue good health and mitigate future cardiac events - what would be those?
I had NSTEMI in Nov 2024.
Thanks
Seth

Take your medication. Read the BHF pages for lifestyle measures that will reduce you ongoing heart health risk, which will include diet, exercise, body weight management, alcohol and smoking.
And if you attended a cardio rehab course follow the advice you were given.
1. Find some exercise you like and can do every day. Walking in nature is ideal.
2. Read dietary advice from a reputable source and modify your diet gradually. Ignore foods you really don't like and make sure you have lots of things you enjoy. Remember "superfoods" don't exist - you can get nutrients from lots of different things.
Diet and exercise are the two major things to think about plus is you are a smoker and a drinker consider ways of quitting x
