Hello taking 10mg bisoprolol just split it to 5 mg twice a day furosemide, and edoxaban digoxin 1.25mcg my blood pressure has dropped and I feel very dizzy my gp says it's not the low blood pressure, does anyone else take digoxin at night as after I take meds in morning I feel dizzy and sick after an hour, but I read that digoxin can drop blood pressure at night any thoughts anyone?

Yes, your medications may be making you feel dizzy. How low is your blood pressure?

Recent reviews have seen the recommended BP levels change and what we used to consider low is now normal and even desirable. As an example, mine dropped to 90/60 the other week. My app and the cuff declared this measurement as normal and I got a big green tick for it. Age is also a factor though and I’m a little younger than you.

If your GP believes it’s not low blood pressure causing your symptoms, what does he think it is? Your meds may need adjusting. I’d go back to the GP and speak to them about it.

Hello thanks for replying, I have just purchased the omron monitored that works with afib as my ordinary one kept failing the readings. I have been using for a few days and readings are about 92 over 70 to 80, when I spoke to the cardiac bhf nurses they mentioned that these new machines were available my last surgery reading was 120 over 80 my gp used a manual pump monitor.Am just going to ring the cardiac nurses tomorrow to ask their opinion, before all of this my blood pressure was always about 127 over 80 so taking 10mg bisoprolol was always going to bring it down I suppose.

Gp thinks it meds making me dizzy not bp he had me standing with eyes closed and other tests that ruled it out, this journey is so confusing trying to get the right meds in place isn't it?

If you believe you are struggling with your medication you should again talk to your GP or a pharmacist.
