Anxiety help

Hi I have dilated cardiomyopathy and a recent increase in my Bisoprolol dose appears to have pushed my anxiety levels through the roof. Has anyone else experienced this problem ?

I also have Dilated Cardiomyopathy. My anxiety increased, but more to do with my diagnosis rather than the increase in the Bisoprolol dose. I did get my dose reduced though, as had absolutely no energy, so that maybe an option for you, or they can put you on a different beta blocker if the side effects are too much for you

I'm on Bisoprolol too, but on the lowest dose, tolerating and working well.

i was put on bisoprolol last august 1.25. In December had to go doctors my anxiety had really escalated to more than Usual agreed to do some therapy but the following months no difference so I came off them this June with Doctors blessing. Considering I was on them roughly 10 months I did taper over a fortnight my main withdrawals were roscea flare up temperatures fluctuations my blood pressure not to bad and heart rate not too bad. I won’t go on it again
