Hi There,

I had some side effects with spironolactone 50mg and was switched over to Eplerenone, which does the same thing but has less side effects... When I asked why I wasnt put on the Eplerenone first I was told " Because it is more expensive than spironolactone"

If spironolactone is the cause of your lip issues then maybe ask them about other alternatives.

I have had no issues since my switch over to Eplerenone.
