hi to anyone who has followed me on my 2 Yr journey through the cardiology obstacle course .originally diagnosed with 70% blockage to lad with diffused plaque over a 7cm length .they tried to stent but couldn't so used a balloon stent. this was 10 months ago ,at first didn't really feel any improvement but after changing my diet and leading a very healthy life style I began to improve .and had no real symptoms for the last 4 months ,they did originally put me on waiting list for a bypass, then the senior consultant asked for another test as I was feeling well. the echocardiagram technicians gave me a very thorough going over and could find nothing wrong with the workings of my heart the doctor present for the test said all OK to slowly up my exercise levels so all sounding very positive I know I'm not out of the woods but feel like I am back in charge of my own destiny ,thank you to all who contribute on this site it is very helpful to all who unfortunately feel the need to visit. I will keep you posted on any further developments , and I wish everyone a happy outcome to their health issues . a question for all my cholesterol was 5.7 at its high level now hovers around 3 . I have been on 20mg of atorvastatine do you think a higher dose would be beneficial .I am following the Mediterranean diet .thank you for reading Terry ♥️🙏
