After my last post I wrote about me aspirating a bit of sandwich that resulted in a.wheeze. I got given steroids and antibiotics the week upto.the op. I went in on Friday morning and the doc wasn't happy, long and short of it I had to have bloods done, so instead of being 2nd on the list I was last. Eventually went to theatre at 2pm and was back in the ward by 2.45pm. All went well until I started presenting tachycardia I was way too fast although none of the pacing had been changed. It turns out I may now need beta blockers to slow the fast heart rate. I got home and told to rest up and take my time. I took the dressings off yesterday at day 3 and it looks fine. That's me now earned 3 stripes haha..scars. onwards and upwards for my exercising but I know I need to wait. Getting my nails all done tomorrow as a wee treat for doing so well.

Hope everyone's having a nice day

I had no pain problems at all having it put in. I was wide awake no sedation to make me drowsy and all went well. Just hope the box change goes as well because it will be done at a different hospital as I have moved now

You deserve a nice treat. Enjoy! Remember though, no lifting, no stretching your arms above your head, though I don’t suppose you will need to do any of those things when getting your nails done 🤣
