Doxazosin

Morning all.My bp has suddenly spiked, probably due to high stress as my husband passed away a month ago.My question is ,is anyone one here taking this.I have never heard of it.I currently take 75mg Losatan.Thanks

Hi Ethel so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. It is not surprising you are stressed and that is a major factor with BP. I have had both of those drugs and found them difficult but that doesn't mean it will be the same for you. Just monitor any symptoms and go back to GP if necessary. Most importantly take care of yourself best wishes x

Sorry for your loss. I am currently on 100mg Losartan, 5mg Amlodipine and 4mg of Doxazosin. Between them they keep my BP stable with no side effects.

Thank-you.Ive been worried about started the Doxazosin as I've never heard of it but my gp has told me to try half a 4mg pill together with the 75mg Losarton and see how I go.
