Bisoprolol and bad dreams

I don't know if this is a coincidence, but since starting taking 2.5mg of Bisoprolol around 8pm each night, I've noticed that I've had quite a lot of bad dreams. Has anybody else experienced this?

I have some serious deep dreams and think they have got intense since starting heart meds years ago.

Thanks for your response, it's useful to know so that I can mention it next time I see my Cardiologist. At the moment I'm just glad that this medication is keeping me in normal sinus rhythm, as I had horrendous side effects with Flecainide.

Yup same here, the can effect your sleep state, less delta sleep means you remember your dreams. They have me waking up every few hours. I very rarely remembered my dreams pre HA. Now I remember dreams every morning

My dreams have been waking me up because I have felt so scared and threatened by them. I don't even watch scary movies!
