Significant changes heart
The left side of your heart is bigger than the right as it is the main pumping chamber and therefore more muscle. I would suggest you go back to your GP rather than relying on guesswork.
The primary reason for an enlarged left ventricle is that it is working harder than normal. The heart is a muscle - if you work that muscle it will grow.
Not much else can be said because the reason why this has occurred is many and varied.
Best to wait until you speak to your doctor. Write down every question as you think of it. I do this on my phone. That way when you’re with your doc you can look at your questions and ask them all. Otherwise, like most of us, we get sidetracked by something else the doc says or just can’t think why you’re there.
as has been said - even better, take someone with you for your doc's appointment.
