What did it say on your discharge notes from the previous angiogram? Otherwise it could be that they have found something that needs further investigation. It could mean they have found, on review, that they didn't cover something they should have done. But only the cardio team will know. I suggest you keep trying to contact them. The medical secretary for the consultant in charge of your case is always a good contact in my experience.

OK. You could try the hospital PALS team to help with your enquiry.

Patient advisory and liaison service. just google it, its a complaints procedure. You may not want to complain but just explain you can't get any reply / answers and would like to know. Good luck.

Angiograms are very temperamental. It all depends on the day and conditions can vary. In my case I had an initial angiogram that showed the extent of the blockages only, no treatment as time did not permit, I was last in the Queue.

In total I was due at least 3 angioplasties, I was prewarned and told what to expect and how long it would take. Systematically blockages were dealt with 3 x 2 stents put in.
