Im worried about side effects my hubby is experiencing. He takes Bisprolol has nightmares, anxiety, cold hands and feet, light headedness, slight yellowing of eyes and a few other .........

He has been to doctor and doctor advises he needs to be on these for life!!!!!!! Symptoms getting worse ............. but he still needs to be on these for his heart? At what point do these symptoms balance out the need for taking Bisprolol and is there better alternative?

if you’re in the UK, Deseret, your doc’s group of surgeries probably has a pharmacist or two employed. Ask your receptionist. Get a phone appointment and discuss with him or her, as there may be alternatives, and the pharmacist can then advise the doc.

Yellowing of the eyes or skin is a sign of jaundice, the NHS website says seek immediate medical help if that occurs. It is extremely rare though.

Cold hands and feet is quite normal, I’m on 1.25mg and I had that, I found thicker socks and a thicker jumper helped. It does pass with time as the body acclimatises to the drug.

Hi been Bisoprolol since 2013 and had none of those symptoms, I would suggest a visit to the doctor, if no joy ask for a second opinion.

Hi there, I have been on Bisoprolol for 2 months now, seems to be working well. I was started on this to stop me taking the GTN spray every so often. I have not taken the spray since I started the tablets @ 1.25 mg, evenings, yes I get really wacky dreams, main side effect.
