You are only upsetting yourself and the cardiologist won't even remember he's said it and would probably be mortified that he upset you. Well done on your weight loss. I remember someone going out for a walk with me and saying is that all you can do. It stopped me going out for a walk after that and now I'm deconditioned. My own fault for letting that comment get to me. I did call him out for it, but months later. Onward and upward. It's the only way.

So sorry. I'm not sure if it's me or have they changed things. I managed to delete all my passwords that I'd saved on Google a couple of days ago when trying to disallow cookies and I've had to join or sign in to everything again including Sainsburys and British gas. Apologies again.
No , please don’t apologise, I just spotted this and worked out that you had meant to respond not start a new post.
I’m sorry that you were discouraged from exercise by a negative and poorly thought through comment. I hope you will soon get /have got your confidence back and will be able to regain your fitness and stamina too. People say things with little thought as to the recipient’s feelings. It’s best to think it reflects poorly on their judgment rather than see it as a valid criticism.
That's very kind of you. No I didn't get my confidence back, but I did let him know it was a senseless remark. He's used to walking miles (from pub to pub) me, I spent my working life sitting on my bum typing all day for 39 years and I'm still doing it. I had one foot for the accelerator and one for the clutch. Ha ha.
