I am getting bouts of AF every night when asleep. I have a "pill in the pocket" to take but it usually takes about 3 hours for my heart to get back into its rhythm. I don't wake my husband, and I usually just sit propped up trying not to get stressed about it. What do you do when this happens? I have been reading the news on my phone - which again is probably not the thing to do, but I need something to take my mind off my busy ticker - any suggestions gratefully received. Also been told to eat a banana!

not quite the same but I was experiencing palpitations and strong ectopic heart bumps every night, believe it was down to taking my medication too late and taking a nighttime drink to bed. I now take my meds at least 2 hrs before bed and my Pukka nighttime drink an hour. I read until I feel tired in bed then settle. I have had good nights sleep since. Oh, and I try to stay on my back. Thinking of you. xx
