Hello everyone! Yesterday I finally got my loop recorder at St Thomas hospital. The incision has been closed with steri strips and I completely forgot if I will have to remove them or if they will fall off by themselves. Does anyone know? Thanks for your help in adavance.Have a nice weekend everyone :)

I had a Pacemaker fitted recently and the steri strips fall off. In my case it took a few weeks for them to completely fall off.

Hiya, I had an I.L.R fitted 6 wks ago. I was told to change the dressing on day 3 and then remove completely - together with the steri-strips on day 7. Nurses gave me waterproof dressings - so still able to shower.

Hope you get on ok with it.

I had a wound check at about 2 weeks down at the local clinic.
