tricuspid and mitral

I had my TOE yesterday and it was painless although a little uncomfortable but I did have sedation and was pleased that I had. The nurses and doctors were very sweet and informative without being alarmist. It turns out that I have two moderately severe leaky valves, mitral and tricuspid, both parachute, both congenital. The thing about long waiting times for anything is that, for me, I end up giving up worrying because if it’s lasted 76 years it’ll probably last a bit longer or at least until surgery. Now awaiting the next stage or test. I’m going to have words with my parents when I next meet them for having botched their attempt at producing a perfect me!

Hello :-)

I am glad you have had the procedure done and was treated so well and kept informed

They will decided if they feel you would benefit from treatment when they have looked at everything and you are right they may decide just to monitor it as you have done fine so far

I agree how dare your parents not produce a perfect you :-)

But I think they did not do to bad they gave you a sense of humour :-)

Let us know how you get on :-) x
