It's exactly one year today that I had my heart attack. I still have problems with high blood pressure, which goes up and down. I get the occasional chest pain and pain in my left arm but nothing severe. The question is do we get a follow up to check the state of our heart etc. I had a triple by pass and am wondering am I making the right progress?

I have monthly meetings with my GP and he checks my blood pressure and does blood tests but do we get scans. I will be seeing him next week but wondered if anyone else has had additional checks.

Thank you

as far as I’m aware you would only get hospital checks if the gp thinks it’s a good idea. So if no new symptoms I doubt if any would be necessary or desirable
