Hello Bisma,

This raises several issues and many off them could stress you out (end in failure)! I understand that you have urgent need for surgery!

But that's only the first stage (this is not including travelling to Europe), there will need to be: 1)immediate follow up care after the operation ! 2)follow up aftercare for several weeks after the operation (approximately 3 months)!

The 2 categories of care mentioned will require input from close family member/s, I speak from past experience having done the same with my wife, only then will the operation have a happy outcome.

You would probably be better off seeking out charities in your own countries.Or possibly write to rich individuals in pakistan who may want and be able to help you.

Hi Bisma,

I would first gain a second opinion as in my experience the Pakistan health system doesn't always tell the truth as they want to make money so stretched out the diagnosis. When you go for a second opinion don't tell them anything about your first diagnosis

Secondly there are really good Cardiology drs in Islamabad who use to Work in Norwich UK.

Honestly the stress possible placed on your heart in a flight is very dangerous.

Then to have absolutely no family support during flight, operation, and recovery is not recommended at all. You won’t be able to access the basics, food, drink ect

I would contact NGOs within Pakistan to seek help.

Hi Bisma, I totally agree with Shabana you Must get a second opinion without telling them the 1st Results and there are some amazing Cardio Hospitals in Islamabad, Lahore. PIC in Lahore does free operations for those who can't afford it so I've been told.Allah swt grant you complete Shifa. Ameen 🤲

Hello Bisma493,

Though I have concern for your health and situation, I have reported your post as being inappropriate for this forum. I ask, kindly, that you try to understand that political issues may be involved in your request and that I, for one, know nothing of reciprocal or other kinds of health provision between countries, though I am aware that NGOs operate in Pakistan, and that these may be able to help you. I do wish you well and trust that you will find the treatment you need very soon.
