Hello :-)

I am not sure if there is a link either but I seem to catch everything that is going and just as I get rid of one thing something else flares up and it really does get you down

This year though is a bad year regarding colds and things

I wonder if you take any vitamins or can do with your condition maybe vitamin D and C might help if you could

I can relate to how you feel and know how miserable it makes you feel

Talk with your Doctor and see what they say and I hope you get better soon and when the nice weather comes it will help with you stop picking things up :-) x

Try adding Zinc, I was a 365 days a year cold person, C, D & Zinc helped me a lot.

it could be that your diet needs tweaking? And your exercise routine?

Yeah could be I do eat healthy and exercise as much as I can although it's a bit hard to do it when you feel as rubbish as I do x

the more you exercise - gently - the better you will feel. Walk in the park? Gentle stretches? On utube there are videos of Joe Wickes - seek out “workouts for seniors” and you can see how easy they are, but they will do you good (I do them nearly every day)

Hey lovely, sorry to hear you’ve been feeling so rotten lately!

We’ve had no end of colds, ear infections, chest infections and a whole plethora of bugs. My eldest has currently been hit with croup and tonsillitis and I will have to ring for a GP review for my youngest tomorrow because she’s been having a temp, cough, sleeping A LOT and complaining that her legs ache.

I have laryngitis at the moment but other than an unreliable voice (and tired from all the disturbed nights this past week with the littles), I feel fine.

I’ve recently started taking some juice plus supplements and I honestly think they’re the reason that I’m still going and not feeling rough. You would need to speak to your GP/pharmacist first before starting anything like that and I’m not going to lie, they are a bit pricey but I can highly recommend them. Happy to share the name of the lady I buy them from privately if you want me to 🙂

Really hope that you’re feeling better very soon - roll on Summer, that’s what I say ☀️

Take care

Best wishes

Hello Yumz199725

I can sympathise with you. Last year both my husband and I were plagued with really bad colds that turned into something nasty and lasted for weeks on end x 2 occasions. It's happened again this year and I am now in week 3 of a stinking bad cold. I blame our charming little grandchildren, 2 and 4 years old because they pick everything up at nursery and share it with us and their other grandparents. I have AF and my husband has no known ailments, yet we seem to be in this vicious cycle of he gets it first then I reciprocate. A lot of people I know have had the same happen so don't read too much into it because it hopefully is one of those things that is circulating. We are all likely to have some reduced immunity after being exposed to 'that virus'.

I agree there seems to be a lot of viruses colds and flu around this year I’ve had a chest infection and 2 nasty cold/flu like viruses in the last 4 months. I think if you have underlying heart condition then it takes a bit longer to get over each Illness and it almost feels like I’m just allways ill and the cold is not good for us hearties looking forward to summer.
