Just Sharing

Good Morning everyone. I wanted to share my very recent eureka moment. Sitting quietly pondering my life's challenges I've come to the understanding it really is one day at a time.

For sure I've been afraid and alone in my thoughts, fearful of the outcome, plenty of what ifs.

Yes, life is unfair but my reaction to that is to dig deep and be positive even when I feel I've exhausted my stock.

How we react to our challenges is the one thing we can control.

I sincerely hope each and every one of you find the resolve to deal with whatever ails.

Sending tonnes of positivity and much love your way! πŸ’“πŸ™πŸ’ͺ

Hello :-)

That has always been a saying of mine when things are hard just take one day at a time

It as you have found can work which I am glad it is for you :-)

I can still get carried away though when the fear gets strong and run ahead of myself and forget to stay in the day so this was a good reminder for me to see someone else say it and how it is working for them and I hope it helps others that are struggling to to to try and give this a go :-) x

I was reminded of this when seeing the breast surgeon. I had so making question to ask! She told me I was thinking too far ahead and she was right. The diagnosis and treatment plan is addressed at each stage.. one step at a time, one day at a time!πŸ™ƒ

Perhaps I overthink sometimes (though my wife might put it otherwise 😏), but recently I decided that I wouldn't refer to "accepting", my situation as it sounds to me as too passive. Instead I prefer to use "come to terms with" as to me it implies some input from me and effort on my behalf. Yes, I know; it's only words but I think it makes a difference.

I very much take your point about not over planning. I guess it's about having direction for our lives without worrying too much about goals.

Cheers CMπŸ™‹

Ah, those "only words" have energy! Agreed direction is needed as long as we are aware of the possibility of being re routed. Makes for a more interesting journey. All the best! Littlebear
