at last got date this Tuesday for my heart MRI scan ,got a phone call this morning .at least I don't have to long a wait to worry about it 🙄👍

hi I only worried beforehand because I’d previously had the “knocking noise” one and I think I was completely inside it as far as can remember.

Stress mri I wasn’t completely in. That helped.

Relax / focus on breathing as best you can (day dream if helps), follow their breathing instructions and it’ll be soon over.

Hi Maxbar

It's a bit daunting to have one, I have to have one every 5 years I recently had one in September and I have one at a children's hospital because I have congenital heart disease. I was able to watch a film and I watched all of it because it took 2 hours. They put a canula in your hand or arm to inject dye to get better visualisation of the valves and heart depending on what the CMR is for. I hope everything goes well for your appointment x

Wow your lucky I had mine 5 months ago still not heard. Got diagnosed September 21, Cardio Version 22. Had an Mri August 23 still haven't seen my consultant....

Hi David sorry you have been waiting so long for everything ,I'll stop moaning about my waiting times, we all love the NHS but it all seems like a bit of lottery 🤔

Very much a post code lottery that's why I decided to go with another health Trust with a 6 week wait compared with a 6 month wait in my local trust. Keep on moaning maybe the new government will listen.

The hospitals seem to jump when pals get involved. I was waiting for a urology appointment for months complained that afternoon had a tel call and was seen next day.
