Hi,

I am just wondering, those that deal with ectopics, so you find that stress can induce them? What are other peoples triggers? I’m finding myself have episodes of ectopics that can come on and I have quite a lot through the day, they can last anywhere from 1 day to 2-3 days and then just disappear and not come back until I get stressed again.

I am 32, otherwise healthy, just wondering if this is similar for anyone else.

Thanks x

Hello, I had a problem with ectopics a year ago. I also had very high bp (for which I now take medication) and it was felt that the bp was one of the triggers. But, I stopped having caffeine and after a few weeks the ectopics calmed down and stopped. So in my case, I assumed I am insensitive to caffeine. Best wishes, M.

Hi Chloeb13I have recently been diagnosed with ectopic beats, which were seen on my ECG. They can disappear for days or weeks, but are definitely worse when I am stressed or anxious. If I exercise too hard I sometimes notice them afterwards. On the plus side, the doctor who diagnosed me didn't think they were anything to be concerned about. I hope this helps.
