in 71 years I have never had a problem with my feet but suddenly my toenails are becoming white and too thick to cut. Could this be my HF meds ( bisoprolol, spironolactone, astovastatin, Entresto, Clopidogrel and lanzoprazole) ?

I think it's just an age thing. Mine are the same but I'm only taking a statin and aspirin plus an opiate painkiller.

I’ve taken most of the same medications and haven’t experienced a problem with my nails. However, I did have a similar problem prior to my heart condition and it was caused by a viral infection. I suggest you see a podiatrist if possible and see if they can help. Best of luck.

Hi Jackabee, I have had no problems with Bisoprolol, how ever one of the drugs you mentioned clopidogrel had a very bad effect on me, like you I take most of the meds you have taken but that particular one was wrong for me, I dont know what dosage of bisoprolol you are on, i started with 10mg after heart attack, now 3 years later i am on2.5mg, hope this helps in some way.

regards Carpbait.
