I was just wondering, if heart palpitations and evidence of AFib on the ecg. Is the same as confirmed AFib. I have had 3 episodes of heart palpitations, but still fighting infection from Ecoli and acute necrotising pancreatitis. Infection markers were well over 400 and now down to around 40 from last blood test.

Also need to get gallbladder out to protect pancreas.

I have had the heart scan and everything was fine. All the right size, no blocks and blood pumping correctly out of the veins. next I have to wear a holter monitor for 24 hrs, but cardiology team have never confirmed AFib or is this just the meaning of proximal Afib.
